He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Pearson Willis; his wife Helen Gray Willis; and his siblings, Luther Willis, Ronald Willis and Ina Isaacs.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Willis (Cathy Maney) of Campton and William E. Willis (Jessica) of Mt. Vernon; his siblings, Charles Willis, Ralph Willis, Thomas Willis, Devada Reynolds, Nina Chasteen and Mary Hendrickson (David); his grandchildren, William Michael Willis, Joshua Jackson Brewer, Hannah Nicole Willis, Haley Brooke Willis, Christian Edward Willis and Waylon Robert Willis; and his sister-in-law Kathy Willis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home (328 W Main St, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
