He was predeceased by : his mother Linda "Moe" Hutchins Mills; and his nephews, Travis and Cody Mills. He is survived by : his father James "J. W." Mills of Mount Washington; his siblings, Bryan Mills (Christy) of Mount Washington and Debbie Glasscock (Bruce) of Mount Washington; his nieces, Erin Martin (Zach) and Kindal Shunnarah (Anthony); his nephew Andrew Glasscock (Nicole); his great-nieces, Lyla Samuels and Gabrielle McConnell; and his great-nephew Drew Glasscock.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mattingly Funeral Home (195 Holy Cross Rd, Loretto, KY 40037). A prayer was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (6785 KY-52, Loretto, KY 40037).
