She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Elmore and Lucille Elmore (Veech); her husband Eugene Leon Nelson; her daughter Angela Hope Shannon; and her brothers, Donald Martin Elmore, Kenneth Elmore and George Elmore.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Lisa Rhodes (Tom), Todd Shannon (Katrina) and Chad Shannon (Sara); and her brother Gene Alan Elmore. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
