With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chad Stephen Richter of Mount Washington, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on May 26, 2025 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Hannah Richter; his sons, Jackson and Levi; his parents, Steve Richter and Jamie Richter; his siblings, Corey Richter and Kaitlin Richter; his grandmother Sharon Richter; his parents-in-law, Gary and Becky Hack; and his close friend Tucker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial fund will be established for Jackson and Levi through their church for their future needs at ChadRichterFamily.org.

“I was so shocked and saddened to hear of this news. He was a great guy and he will be greatly missed. I can remember meeting Chad when we moved to Louisville in 2002 and he was always so kind to us! I can remember discussing the scriptures many times with him, including when he was my Sunday School teacher for a time! I’m so thankful we have a hope that we will see him again! I’m praying for you all! 🙏”
