He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Sue" McMahan; his sons, Chuck McMahan and Tony McMahan; his parents, Jacob McMahan and Anna McMahan; his siblings, Robert, Henry McMahan (Juanita), Joe (Mildred), Bill McMahan (Melba) and Mary Knott (Lamar); and his in-laws, John, Joe, Dick, Paul Alexander and Mary Jane Alexander.
He is survived by: his children, Rick (Mary), Dennis (Vicky), Dale (Margie) and Janice Philpott (Steve); his daughter-in-law Shannon McMahan; his grandchildren, Todd (Sara), Jeremy, Tate (Valerie), Jacob (Ashley), Caleb (Jamie), Izaak (Desiree), Alex (Emily), Adam McMahan, Jenny Stillwell (Ralph), Rachel Cook (Brian), Alisha, Shumate (Jeff), Kristen Myers (Aaron), Andrea Lichtsteiner (Michael), Hannah, Struck (Travis) and Jessica Spalding (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Chyenne, Kora, Gunner, Brynlee, Chloe, Paige, Taylor, Lilly, Avery, Elizabeth, Christopher, Brantley, Andrew, Elise, Clara, Lane, Benjamin, Christoffer, Grace, MacKenzie Rylan, Hayden, Delilah, Cade Bruce, Bella, Lynley, Ann, Sunnie, Rhett and Oliver; his great great grandchildren, Johnathan Carter, Myla, Levi, Kaiden, Kamden, Kinslee, Kambree Harlyn and Briar; and his in-laws, Harold (Debby), Mike (Janet) and Patty.
