He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther G. Higdon and Virginia C. Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Christine Granberry-Higdon of Mount Washington, KY; his daughter Katina Higdon; his stepchildren, Karl D. Graham Jr. of Mt Washington, KY, Nakia V. Graham (Christina) of Kansas City, KS and Angela L. Hyser (Mark) of Canton, OH; his siblings, Lovie Baker of Fairdale, KY, Garland Higdon (Pat) of Shepherdsville, KY, Douglas Higdon of GreenValley, AZ, Doris Chancellor, Sharon Winstead of Jeffersonville, IN and Brenda Wimsatt of Scottsburg, IN; and his stepgrandchildren, Makayla, Natalie, Carson, Christian, Gavin, Madison and Bella. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
