Louise Key Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2026, at the age of 86, Louise Key (Mount Washington, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Simmons and Hattie Belle Simmons; her husband James Key; and her brother Zebbie Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Stanley Powers (Susan), Pamela Stevens (Keith) and Deborah Pardon (Anthony); and her siblings, Harold (Donna), Don Simmons (Connie), Sheila Martin, Cindy Pendleton (John) and Pat Demshar (Jack). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home (111 N Bardstown Rd, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at the Resthaven Memorial Park (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218).
