He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. McGehee and Evelyn McGehee; his brother Eugene McGehee (Boss Lee); his sons, Robert McGehee, Jr. and Kendall Grant; and his pet Otis.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his granddaughter Kendra Spencer (Alan); his great grandchildren, Riley and Ellie Spencer; his daughter-in-law Jodi Jones (Doug); his brother Jack McGehee (Anna); and his nephew Jeff McGehee (Marcella). He is also survived by niece, several other nephews, and many close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home (111 N Bardstown Rd, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
