He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl Barber and Margaret Barber (Bosse); and his siblings, Diane, Mary Lee and Denny Ray.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Barber (Patterson); his children, Rhonda "Nikki" Barber, Jason Barber, Kenneth Barber and Jeff Barber; his grandchildren, Parker, Gavin, Brittany, Caitlyn, Daniel, McKenna, Josh, Matt and Nick; his great grandchildren, Ryder, Brody, Catalina, Maiyah, Sofia, Grayson and Aleena; and his brothers, Jimmy Barber, Ricky Barber and Kevin Barber.
