He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Basham and Emma Basham (Walker); his wife Patricia; his son Dennis Michael Basham; and his siblings, Patricia Curl, Kenneth and Robert "Bobby" Basham.
He is survived by: his children, John Basham (Karen) of Canton, NY, Tracey Decker (Mike) of Brandenburg, KY, Stacey Ashbaugh (Charlie) of Brandenburg, KY, Jason Basham of Muldraugh, KY and Iva Wimp; his grandchildren, Nick, Katy, Matthew, Krystal Basham, Kristina Reichmuth (Jordan), Andrew Clark and Sara Ashbaugh (James Devine); and his siblings, Pete Basham of Hannawa Falls, NY, Ellen "Sissy" Masterson (Gary) of West Point, KY and Mary Margaret "Ninnie" Persianni (Dennis) of Flaherty, KY.. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
