He is survived by: his sons, Terry Compton (Margaret) of Brandenburg, KY and Stephen Dale Compton (Jody) of Brandenburg, KY; his sister Sheila Herron; his grandchildren, Stephen Bruce (Jeni), Braden, Mackenzie and Case Compton; and his great grandchildren, Emmett and Easton Compton.
