He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Ashby and Tommie Lou Ashby (Goodall); and his brothers, Larry and Ronnie Ashby. He is survived by : his wife Diane Ashby of Munfordville, KY; his children, Chrisgenia Mae Loflin (William) of Munfordville, KY, Richard Ashby (Melissa) of Evansville, IN and Phillip Ashby (Melissa) of Owensboro, KY; and his siblings, Marlena Johnston (Gary) of Newburgh, IN, Rosie Sadler of Evansville, IN, Wendy Ashby of Evansville, IN, Richard Ashby (Sandy) of Evansville, IN, Danny Ashby (Alice) of Evansville, IN, Donnie Ashby (ImaJean "Boogie"), Steve Ashby of Evansville, IN, Gary Ashby (Sandy) of Poole, KY, Rickie Ashby (Jaye) of Hanson, KY and Jon Ashby (Terri) of Portage, IN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
