He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Jaggers Thompson; his children, Sonya Thompson of Munfordville, KY and Chip Thompson (Lisa); his grandsons, Brennen Thompson-Ross of Bowling Green, KY, Benjamin Thompson and James Thompson of Sedalia, Colorado; and his sisters, Martha Smith of Brownsville, KY and Patricia Thompson of Louisville, KY..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brooks Funeral Home (50 Main St, Munfordville, KY 42765). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at the Jaggers Cemetery.
