She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis Oppelt and Edith Robacker Oppelt; her husband Harry James Howard; and her siblings, Winston, Alfred (Alo), Henry (Peach), Francis (Ned), Robert (Tip) and Shirl Rhoads.

She is survived by : her children, Debbie Bryan (Mark) of Munfordville, KY, Brenda Franck (Larry) of Morgantown, PA and Harry Howard (Cheryl) of Cresco, PA; and her grandchildren, Matt Bryan, Barbara Spencer, Kelly Rucko-Scaduto (Alex), Sara Ash (Chris), Jason Franck (Brittany), Stacey Franck-Kacin (Brian), Jessica Mattern-Tajada (Albert) and Harry Daniel Howard (Chelsey). She is also survived by 15 beautiful great-grandchildren.
