She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Sweet and Hattie Mathis Sweet. She is survived by: her husband Cecil Stasel; her children, Carolyn Burleson, Arnold Stasel, Harold Stasel and Virginia Button; her grandchildren, Daniel Hawkins, Cain Horton and Justin Losgon; her siblings, Richard Sweet, Melvin Sweet, Delores Jean Jaggers, Wilma Alvey and Jeanetta Johnson Webb; and her children, Barbara Childress, Ruby Horton (Junior), Janet Overstreet and John Stasel (Mouse). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
