With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrew Burkeen of Murray, Kentucky, who passed away on April 20, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Barnes Burkeen and Ola Hopkins Burkeen; his wife Shirley Ann Burkeen; and his siblings, J. B. Burkeen, Johnny Burkeen, Barnes Ray, Euple Lee, Mary Outland and Pauline Crotzer.
He is survived by: his children, Mitchel Burkeen (Tonya) of Murray and Jill Burkeen of Murray; his sister Ola Mae James of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Whitney Hancock (John), Jack Burkeen, Allen Moore, Allison Wells and Austin Wells; and his great grandchildren, Finn Hancock, Emma Moore, Brooklyn Powell, Maeleigh Wells, Kynleigh Wells and Oakley Wells.
