With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy McAlister of Murray, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Watson McAlister and Sara Nell Kindred McAlister; and his brother Donnie McAlister. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Carr McAlister of Murray, KY; his children, Tabatha Addison of Mayfield, KY and Josh McAlister of Clearwater, FL; his stepsons, Jeremy Egner (Amber) of Denver, CO and Jesse Egner of Murray, KY; his sister Sheryl DeGrove of Titus, AL; and his grandchildren, Tristan McAlister, Madyson McAlister, Jacob McAlister, Abby McAlister, Calissa Egner and Terry Egner.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family asks that a donation be made in Billy's name to the Mayfield Graves County Animal Shelter- 500 N 12th Street, Mayfield, KY 42066.
