With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobbie Dean Turbeville of Murray, Kentucky, who passed away on November 8, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe "Ben" Thompson and Mary Ann Thompson; her siblings, Monroe, Charles, Thomas, Robert "Lonnie", Arthur Riley and Dessie May; and her husband Jack Turbeville.
She is survived by: her brother Ben; her children, Lavina Belue (Ted Franklin Belue), Jay Turbeville and Wayne Turbeville (Becky Turbeville); her grandchildren, Tim Turbeville, Mitchell Turbeville, Jamie Turbeville and Aiden Turbeville (Catherine Turbeville); and her sisters, Thelma Welch and Flora Jean Steed.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services (201 S 3rd St, Murray, KY 42071). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gore Springs Methodist Church Cemetery (366 Old Academy Rd, Gore Springs, MS 38929).
