It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dee Ann Umar of Murray, Kentucky, born in Vienna, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Opal Zander (Milligan) and Harold W. Milligan; and her husband Dr. Farouk Umar. She is survived by : her daughters, Mae Alexander (Gary Hopper) of Kuttawa and Leila Bacon (Bryan) of Mayfield; and her grandchildren, Maegan Procasky (Seth) of Orlando, FL, Dr. Hillary Suhaila Whipple (Stayce) of Nashville, TN, Marshall Bacon (McLain) of Destin, FL, Morgan Alexander, Avery Bacon, Catherine Alexander and Ella Bacon.
