We announce the death of Doris Estelle Neal in Murray, Kentucky, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 102. Doris will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Neal; her daughter Freda Ann Neal-Starks; her parents, Thomas Gordon and Lillian Cooper (Wootan); and her siblings, Thomas Cooper, Jr., H. Herbert Moore, Jr. and Lillian Soseby.
She is survived by: her sons, Leonard Neal, Jr. (Marilee) and Richard Neal (Glenda); her grandchildren, Debra Hands (Bill), Christopher Neal (Audrey), Neal Starks (Carla), Eric Neal (Linda) and Stephanie Garland (DJ); her great grandchildren, Cassidy McAllister (Andrew), Kendal Hands, Cameron Neal, Connor Hands and Oliver Neal; her great great grandchildren, Henry McAllister and Lucy McAllister; and her sister Martha Quinn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cornerstone Coventry Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
