He was predeceased by: his sons, Jeremy Arnett and William Scott Arnett; his sisters, Sadie Faye Harris and Ladonna McNutt; and his parents, William Royce and Sarah Linda Scott Arnett.

He is survived by: his daughter Alicia Faye Arnett of Murray, KY. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
