It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Smotherman of Murray, Kentucky, born in Cadiz, Kentucky, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Sherman Adair and Ruby Turner Hendon Adair; her husband Billy Smotherman; her stepfather Otis Adair; her sisters, Lilly Mae Morgan and Roberta Myers; and her grandchildren, Thomas and Curtis Smotherman.
She is survived by : her children, Tonya Smotherman (Jeff Mitchuson) of Hardin, Tammy Graves (Jeff) of Puryear, Terry Smotherman of Murray and Johnny Hendon (Debbie) of Indiana; her sister Linda Dockins of Florida; and her grandchild MacKensie Vacca (Blake) of Tonya Hendon, J. J. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
