He is survived by: his wife Debbie Smith of Murray; his children, Shannon Porter of Franklin, TN, Mary Sue Seratt (Tommy) of Troy, TN, Melissa Martin of Ashland, KY and Joe Byrd (Malerie) of Union City, TN; and his grandchildren, Sydney Porter, Jordyn Porter, James Tully Moore, Will Thomas Moore and Katina Martin.
