We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2023, at the age of 87, Velie Balentine Eads of Murray, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Audie Balentine and Florence Balentine (Askew); her husband Gerral "Jerry" Eads; and her siblings, Ralph Gordon Balentine, Flora Mae Higgins, Dorothy Lucille Baker, Thomas A. Jefferson Balentine, Helen Lurlene Litchfield, William Isaac Balentine and Margie Nell Balentine.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Jones of Murray, KY, Teresa G. Joyce (Charles) of Aurora, KY, Tammy Hicks (Teddy) of Murray, KY, Betty Phillips (Steve) of Aurora, KY and Keith Jones of Murray, KY; and her siblings, David M. Balentine (Gayle) of Murray, KY, Rev. Elijah H. Balentine of Dexter, KY, Jerry D. Balentine of Indianapolis, IN and Alice McCoy (Homer) of Murray, KY. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
