He was predeceased by : his daughter Cathy Harpole; his granddaughter Ashley Adams Hansrote; his siblings, Johnny Foy, J. C. Foy, Joyce Coleman, Shirley Elmore and Sue Dowdy; and his parents, William Foy and Ruell Bruce Foy.

He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Lee Foy; his children, Jimmy Elkins (Gwen) of Hopkinsville, KY, Debbie Kaler of Mayfield, KY and Belinda Adams (Randy) of Mayfield, KY; and his siblings, Robert Foy (Becca) of Lowes, KY, Gladys Sadler of Mayfield, KY and Glenda Jones (Tom) of Eddyville, KY. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
