We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2025, at the age of 81, David P. Richer of Nancy, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid David farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Thompson and Lorraine Miller; his daughter Stephanie Richer; and his sister Debbie Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Karen Richer; his children, Justin Lee Cardente (Justine) of North Carolina and Kara Ranine Story (Matthew) of Wyoming; and his grandchildren, Lillie, Keith, Theodore, Ignacio and Imelda.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
