With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Russell Wilson of Nancy, Kentucky, born in Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on March 11, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolphus Wilson and Edith Simpson Wilson; and his wife Sandra Sue Hunley Wilson. He is survived by: his son David "Rusty" Wilson, Jr. (Matina) of Nancy; his granddaughter Shelby Lynn Simpson (Chad) of Eubank; and his siblings, Wayne Wilson (Joyce) of Somerset and Jan Stringer (Gerald) of Nancy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members.
