With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Sawyer of Nancy, Kentucky, born in Hamilton, Ohio, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esmer Willis and Lillie Mae Willis (Cook); her daughter Sherri Lynn Combs; and her siblings, Laura Mae Fugate, Margie Lee Kinder, Marie Johnson, Junior Willis and Harold Lane.
She is survived by: her spouse Thomas "Tom" Lyle Sawyer; her stepchildren, David Baumgardner (Suzanne), Angela Jenkins (Scott), Kristie Martin (Jason), James T. Sawyer and Ronnie Sawyer; her grandchildren, James (Joshua Combs), Destiny Jenkins, Justin Jenkins, Jeremy Martin, Katelyn Martin and Havily; and her siblings, Jean Church (Ron) and Larry Lane (Teresa) of Ohio. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to any Dementia or Alzheimer's Organizations in memory of Dorothy "Dottie" Sawyer.
