He is survived by : his wife Ruth Ann Harris Merrick; his mother Alberta Smith of Covington, KY; his sons, Ray Travis Merrick (Kari) of Bronston and Jesse Clayton Merrick of Somerset; his brother John Merrick; and his grandchildren, Madilynn Stevenson, Gavin Merrick and Ian Merrick.
