He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schmidt and Stella Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Adida Schmidt; his children, Robert Schmidt (Tori), Thomas Schmidt, Shelbie Schmidt, William "Willie" Schmidt, Ashley and Brianna; his adoptive son Josh Whitson (Leah Carlisle); his siblings, Becky, Jimmy, Bobby, Tammy, Leann and Crystal; and his sister-in-law Christina (Eddie). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews; his grandchildren; as well as many extended family members and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests potted plants to honor Frank's memory-living tributes that will continue to grow, just as his love lives on in those who knew him.
