She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil Garner and Ruth Shepperd Garner; her husband Noel Lynn Whitaker; her brothers, John Will Garner, Edgar Marion Garner, Harvey Garner, Larry Garner and Layton Garner; and her son-in-law Daniel Fleagle.

She is survived by : her children, Noelene Whitaker of Nancy, Johnathan Whitaker (Crystal) of Somerset, James Whitaker (Vicky) of Phoenix, AZ, Jesse Whitaker (Ashley) of Lebanon, TN and Tabitha Keith (Myrtie) of Nancy; her siblings, Linzie Garner of Nancy and Marie Frye of Nancy; and her grandchildren, Logan Whitaker, Tanner Whitaker, Kathrine Keith, Emma Keith and Carson Whitaker.
