He is survived by: his son Bill Garner; his brother Gene Garner; his nephews, Michael "Cuzz" Garner of Nancy and Cheston Garner of Nancy; his aunts, Lois Ann Taylor of Monticello, Mary Lou Dalton of Bronston and Marie Frye (Wayneth) of Nancy; and his uncle Linzie Garner of Nancy. He is also survived by neighbors and friends.
