It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Garner of Nancy, Kentucky, who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John Wayne "Derf" Garner; his brother Jason Garner; his grandparents, John Will, Sarah Garner and Teddy Stephens; his uncle Randy Stephens; and his aunt Cheryl Stephens.

He is survived by: his mother Betty Jo Stephens Garner of Burnside; his uncle Gene Garner; his cousins, Michael Garner (Natasha Duncan) of Nancy, Cheston Garner of Nancy and Tabitha Jo Morgan of Nancy; his grandmother Alverta Stephens of Rusell County; and his aunts and uncles, Danny Stephens (Susan) of Russell County, Jerry Stephens (Jewell) of Russell County, Boris Stephens (Tammy) of Russell County, Lindsey Garner of Nancy, Joan Garner, Donna Stephens of Russell County, Mary Lou Daulton of Bronston and Lois Taylor of Monticello. He is also survived by extended family members, neighbors and friends.
