We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2025, at the age of 88, Lois Marie Gaines of Nancy, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Dye and Monnie Tarter Dye; her husband Denzel Gaines; and her siblings, Roy Clarence Dye, Lawrence Dye, Lee Dye, Ellis Dye, Lucille O'Brien, Maxine Beckman, Barbara Dye, Ruby Norfleet and Lorena Dye.
She is survived by: her children, Marty Denton Gaines (Janna) of Jabez and Pamela Frye (Roy D.) of Nancy; her grandchildren, Kevin Frye (Ashley) of Nancy, Stacy Daulton (Brandon) and Tarah Haynes (James) of Jabez; and her great grandchildren, Nathan Frye, Samuel Frye, Samantha Ledford, David Ledford, Logan Daulton, Vayda Haynes, Harper Haynes and Joel Haynes.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503).
