She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie "Myrl" Dishman and Delta Light Dishman; and her siblings, Willie Dishman and Ellawease Burton. She is survived by: her husband Ivan Burton of Nancy, KY; her son Jason Burton (Lalah) of Somerset, KY; her granddaughters, Kendra Rice (Matthew) and Shawna Van Hook; her great grandchildren, Isla Whalen, Matthew "Wally" Rice, Wesley Van Hook and Chandler Van; and her sisters, Marcella Sumpter of Nancy, KY, Delores Weddle of Nancy, KY and Diana Keith of Nancy, KY. She is also survived by extended family members including nieces and nephews, church family, neighbors and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
