She was predeceased by: her parents, Gethro Henderson and Myrtle Vaughn Henderson; and her husband Norman Lee Bland. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Bland (Sandra) of Nancy, Roger Gene Bland of Nancy and Kathy Waters Fikes (Jacob) of Nancy; her siblings, Lowell Gene Henderson (Dorothy) of Nancy, Hazel Bellamy of Nancy and Judy Burton (Larry) of Nancy; her grandchildren, Julie Troxell, Donnie Waters and Kenny Bland Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Lucas Troxell, Jacob Troxell and Savannah Troxell. She is also survived by extended family members, neighbors and friends.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or God's Food Pantry in memory of Nellie Bland.
