She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Clinton Muse and Alma Ard Muse; her husband Eugene Prather; her siblings, Clifford Muse (Blanch), Carter Muse, Donald Muse (Sue), Oveline Barker and Freida Yanders (Charlie); and her brother-in-law Charlie Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Eugene "Tim" Prather (Vickie) of Nancy, KY, Terry Prather (Kara) of Nancy, KY and Debbie Moore (Brett) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Reba Prather, Mason Moore, Connor Moore, Taylor Moore, Maggie Prather and Wade Prather; her sisters, Patty Ruckle and Pauline Weddle; and her sisters-in-law, Illene Muse and Sue Angevine (Roger). She is also survived by extended family members; nieces and nephews; church family, neighbors and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the place of donations to the Gideon Bible Memorial Fund in Memory of Regena Muse Prather.
