He is survived by: his sons, Scott Wesley Kennedy of Somerset, KY, James Douglas Kennedy (Tourah Khu) of Laurel, MD and Brian Thomas Kennedy of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Olivia Kennedy, Grace Kennedy, Colette "Coco" Kennedy, Tyler Wesley Kennedy and Rebekah Moriah Kennedy; and his brother Roger Dale Bratton of Somerset.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Mill Springs National Cemetery (9044 KY-80, Nancy, KY 42544).
