He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Sawyer; his stepchildren, James T. Sawyer, Ronnie Sawyer, David Baumgardner (Suzanne), Angela Jenkins (Scott) and Kristie Martin (Jason); his grandchildren, James (Joshua Combs), Destiny Jenkins, Justin Jenkins, Jeremy Martin, Katelyn Martin and Havily; and his brother Billy Sawyer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
