He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Louisa Loyd Logsdon and Elza Otis Taylor, Jr.; his former wife Linda Jones Taylor; his brother Carl Joseph "Bubby" Taylor; and his great grandchild River Jane Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Larkins Taylor of Nebo; his sons, Chris Taylor (April) of Nebo, Jeremy Taylor (Chasity) of Madisonville, KY and Brian Gibson (Belinda) of Hanson, KY; his sister Clara Taylor of Owensboro; and his grandchildren, Harley Taylor, Gabriel Taylor, Caleb Gibson and Joshua Gibson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
