She was predeceased by: her parents, Christine Love Gish Thurby and Thomas Houston Thurby; her daughter Denise Love Orrick; and her siblings, Gillie Thomas Thurby, Jr., James R. Thurby, Larry G. Thurby and Christine M. Thurby Farmer.

She is survived by: her children, Ernest Lee Orrick, Jr. (Tobie) of Sebree, KY and LaDonna Scott (Bryan) of Manitou, KY; her grandchildren, Brittany Orrick, Matthew Orrick (Alyssa), Megan Henry (Tyler), Justin Graham (Christian), Shane Graham (Lacey), Taylor Beckett, Makenzie Gibson, Hunter Scott (Mira) and Makaylee Scott; and her great grandchildren, Piper, Winter, Evelyn Graham, Matilyn, Hazel Orrick and Ellie Oglesby. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home, Inc. (134 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
