He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Jones Coakley and Melvin Virgil Coakley; his siblings, Virgil Coakley, Marshall Coakley, Gary Coakley, Terry Coakley, Jerry Coakley and Sue Holmes; and his grandson Bentley Lain Coakley.
He is survived by: his wife Meko Crook Coakley; his children, Ashley Dame (Jeremy) of Madisonville, Amber Coakley of Oceanside, CA and Dillan Coakley of Nebo; his siblings, Roger Coakley (Susan) of Madisonville, Betty Hopper of Mortons Gap, KY, Judy Hancock (Ben) of Hopkinsville, KY, Ann Clevenger (Clint) of White Plains, KY and Jannie Coakley of Madisonville; and his grandchildren, Kylee Dame, Rylen Dame and Wren Dame. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
