He was predeceased by: his son Hank Freeman; and his grandfathers, Leonard Collier (Dixie) and Danny Tackett. He is survived by: his parents, David Freeman Sr. and Sandra Collier; his wife Crissy Freeman; his daughter Kasey Slone; his sister Susan Harrison (Josh); his grandmother Sandra Tackett; and his nieces and nephews, Tessa Breeding (Brad), Micaiah, Natalie and Weston.
In Lieu of flowers family has requested donations can be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
