Gordon leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Gordon’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Gordon will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Johnson and Betty Johnson (Moles); and his sister Katherine Griffie. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Johnson; his children, Brandon Johnson of Neon and Nikole Brown of Neon; and his siblings, James Johnson of Lexington, Robert Johnson of Whitesburg and Audrea Hamm of Covington. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel (22 Elkhorn Ave, Jenkins, KY 41537).
