She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Batts and Katherine Batts (Burch); her husband Robert Calvin Chadwell; and her daughter Linda Downey. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Kelley (Dwayne) of Shelbyville and Larry Baxter (Valerie) of Shelbyville; her stepchildren, Monica, Karen and Calvin; and her brother Denny Batts of Carrollton. She is also survived by Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the New Castle Nursing & Rehab Activity Department or Henry – Trimble County Humane Society, Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
