He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Thomas and Wanda Louise Baker (Bruner). He is survived by: his children, Ashley Baker of Campbellsburg, Amanda Lineberry (Theo) of Campbellsburg and Ben Baker (Kathryn) of Campbellsburg; his siblings, Evelyn "Lou" Soete of Louisville, Earl "Tommy" Baker (Janet) of Burlington and Edmond "Eddie" Baker (Lynn) of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Kylee Ann, Lincoln Keith Baker, Ava Marie Byers and Waylon Dale Wilhoite; and his cousin Robin Bruner.
