Kenneth Spies Obituary
We announce the death of Kenneth Spies (New Castle, Kentucky), who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 62. Kenneth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Spies and Mildred Spies; and his sister Sandy Jones. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Spies (Chism) of Eminence; his children, Brandee Spies of Michigan and Kassidy Crenshaw (Chris) of Eminence; his grandchildren, Nyla Dattoli, Autumn Dattoli, Marshal Keating Jr., Millie Crenshaw and Kash Crenshaw; and his siblings, Donald "Gus" Spies (Kay) of Lawrenceburg and Carrie Scheer (Mark) of Eminence. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends, and coworkers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home (425 N Main St, New Castle, KY 40050). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM.
