He was predeceased by : his parents, Marcum Compton and Lucile Hughes Compton; and his grandson Travis Mark Stromberg. He is survived by : his children, Ellen Stromberg (Chuck) of Louisville and Todd Compton (Lisa) of Sellersburg, IN.; his grandchildren, Christopher Stromberg (Amanda), Hannah Compton, Clayton Stromberg, Emily Compton and Grant Compton; his great grandchildren, Addisyn and Carter Stromberg; and his close friend Linda Johnson.
