He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Mitts and Florence Helen Mitts; his wife Wilma Jean Mitts; his children, Earl Thomas Mitts, Pam Hutchinson, Harold Lemon and Monty Lemon; and his siblings, Edward Mitts and Nori Huff.
He is survived by: his children, Roberta Couch (Donnie Couch Sr.) of Hebron, KY and Tony Lemon; and his nieces, Melody Slade, Rebecca Underwood and Heather Hopper. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
