It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Miller (Newport, Kentucky), who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Wanda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Wanda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Wanda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her mother Kathryn Ann Work; her grandparents, Zora Jones (Higginbotham) and James Franklin Jones, Sr.; her husband James Edwin Miller; and her close friend Verna Murray.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Regina Abbott; her siblings, Mary Kay Work, Debbie Brenner, Sherry Eastin, Theresa Bolton, Kathy Wical and John Work, Jr.; and her aunt Jeanette Ellison. She is also survived by step grandchildren; great step grandchildren.
